This exciting day provides an excellent opportunity for students to explore the school’s state-of-the-art facilities, including modern classrooms, science labs, the sports hall, and performance spaces. Students will also have the opportunity to meet future classmates, while taking part in fun lessons that use the latest technology, including iPads, to support learning.
Outstanding results
Wolverhampton Grammar School is renowned for its exceptional pastoral care, innovative approach to education, and outstanding academic achievements, all of which are reflected in the school’s impressive GCSE and A-Level results. The Class of 2024 achieved 100% pass rate at A Level, with over 42% of grades achieved A* to A, and 70% achieving A* to B. Last year’s GCSE results were equally as impressive, with 77% of all exams awarded the top grades of 9 to 6 (equivalent to A* to B). All of these results demonstrate the high standard of education provided at the school.
ISI Inspection praise
In April last year, the ISI Inspection report affirms that “students achieve well academically, develop their confidence and are equipped with life skills” and that “the school value’s of respect, individuality, equity and kindness are evident in all aspects of school life.” These qualities exemplify the core mission of WGS to deliver an education that ‘transforms lives as well as minds’. The school is dedicated to not only providing an excellent education but also fostering the personal growth of its students, helping them develop confidence, resilience, and a passion for learning.
