Tettenhall College is very pleased to announce a bold, measured and funded fee position for the 2025 – 2026 academic year, giving our parent partners the certainty and transparency they need and deserve.
- The tuition fee for day pupils in Reception class, Year 1 and Year 2, as well as those in Years 8, 9, 10, 11 and 13, is fixed at the same level as it is today. No tuition fee increase is being applied.
- The tuition fee for pupils in years 3 to 6, has decreased, from £5,026 per term, to £5,000 per term.
- A new tuition fee for pupils in Years 7 and 8 is being introduced over two years. In September 2025, pupils in Year 7 will be charged £5,000 per term, which is the same rate as those in years 3 – 6. In September 2026, this rate, equivalent to the same rate at that time in Years 3 – 7, will also apply to pupils in Year 8.
- A new tuition fee for Sixth Form students in Years 12 and 13, is being introduced over two years. In September 2025, students in Year 12 will be charged £4,167 per term (£12,500 per year). In September 2026, the reduced rate will apply to students in both Year 12 and Year 13.
VAT is included.
Why and how has this been possible?
Independent education remains an expensive option for families; however, funding has been secured which allows us to make major strategic changes to our fee positions for pupils in Year 7 (and then Year 8) and those in Year 12 (and then Year 13).
Tettenhall College is committed to delivering a high-quality education for all pupils. Our Preparatory Pathways Programme, Senior School experience and newly framed Sixth Form Pathways offer the highest levels of ambition, rigour and individual attention.
A strong decision has been made to widen, not narrow, access to those young people about to commence their Sixth Form studies, who are aspirational, ambitious and individuals of character. As such, the new Sixth Form fee, in parallel with a newly framed Sixth Form Pathways Programme, is now launched.
Our response is targeted and not diluted across every year group. Quality remains the hallmark of excellent independent education. Tettenhall College is very proud to offer a wide range of academically strong options. In our Sixth Form we deliver outstanding science teaching, the top level of Computer Science studies at this stage; French and Spanish alongside native language tuition in Chinese, Russian, German, Persian and much more; both Mathematics and Further Mathematics, Psychology, Religious Studies, History, Geography, English Literature, Business and also Economics; Music and Art & Design. We now also offer CTEC courses in Sport & Physical Activity and Performing Arts.
